Kara La Guardia Airport(tm The Soup) really looked like the new kid on the block when the judges walked on stage.

I have to admit that Ryan has grown on me big time over the years, he's a great host for this show.

About MJ, regardless of what I think of him as a person, I think he's a fantastic artist.

On to the contestants:

1. Lil - The Way You Make Me Feel: Lil's kids are adorable. I have to agree with Simon about her outfit, do not like at all. She sounded great, but I don't think this was the right kind of song for a girl with that voice. She's obviously one of the 'chosen' ones, I have no idea what kind of 'chosen' one she is yet. Still hate Randy, Paula is proably high, but it wouldn't be AI without it.

2. Scott - Keep the Faith: Oh!! Oh!! Instruments!! Haven't seen those yet. I liked it. I doubt he'll go and win this thing, but he'll probably get far. Noooo Kara, do not encourage people singing message songs. We had to suffer a season of Archie message songs and I hated every one of them.

3. Douchy McDouche - PYT. Do. Not. Get. The Hype. I really don't get it. It's painfully obvious who they want to win. Spoon, please gag me.

4. Oil boy - You Are Not Alone. His mouth make weird movements. It's distracting. Also, stop eyefucking the camera, kthanx. I like his voice better than Douchy, but I don't think I can overcome the mouth thing. Seriously, distracting.

5. Jasmine - I'll Be There. Such a cute girl. Not so sure about her dress. I like her voice, just not a big fan of her lower register. Her shoes look like you can kill someone with. Ugh, Randy STFU about Mariah. WE KNOW!!

We're only up to #6? Holy hell it's going to be a long season.

6. Kris - Remember The Time. He sort of reminds me of Jason from last year. It was good, nothing outstanding. Hehe, Ryan is jealous of Paula. Why is Paula still babbling? Oh and Simon? Single, my ass.

7. Allison - Give in to me? Her hair is..um..interesting. She's a more talented version of last year's Amanda.

Haha, oh Ryan. No one waits until the credits roll to start voting. Last year I had at least 20 votes in by then.

8. Anoop - Beat It. Another one who's voice doesn't match the song. I dunno, he might to be too sweet to do a song like this *shrugs*. Holy crap, Simon agrees with me *faints*

This is never going to end, is it? 2 hours of Lost go by so much faster *sigh*

9. Jorge - Never say Goodbye. He's got a very nice voice, but sadly for him the song didn't do much for me.

10. Megan - Rockin' Robin. What the hell is she wearing? She looks terrified to be on that stage. Don't like the performance or the song.

11. Adam - Black and White. I want his haircut. Well, he's entertaining and has plenty of attitude. That I like, I'm not sure about his singing yet. I do like him heaps better than Douchy McDouche.

That new Osbourne show looks stupid as hell.

12. Matt - Human Nature. Yawn. Bored.

13. Alexis - Dirty Diana. Poor girl, cursed with the weird phone number, wtg Idol people. I like her, her voice and I love her hair.


I'm VERY worried about the concept change.

Oh and season 8 AI peeps, this is how you do a Michael Jackson song on AI. Thank God they had the goo sense to stay away from Billie Jean. I miss season 7 :(
